We Love Re-Cycling

 As part of the J&A Green Team I pledge to do my part to consider the environment and set a good example within the Austin triathlon community.

 I will do my best to reduce, reuse, and recycle.

 I will make efforts to commute by bicycle or foot whenever possible; to work, for close errands, and workouts.

 I will not litter during my rides or runs and will carry my garbage until it can be properly disposed of.

 I will save old tubes for patching or drop them off at the J&A recycling center.

 I will make efforts to carpool to races, and workouts.

 I will save old bike parts for donation to friends or the J&A recycling center.

 I will donate lightly used athletic apparel to organizations in need.

 I will bring my own bag into J&A (and other stores) when shopping to reduce my use of plastic bags.

 I will re-use plastic bags from races before disposing of them.

 I will encourage others to take advantage of the J&A recycling center and to consider their environmental impact as athletes.
